Original package ticket to the 1876 Philadelphia World's Fair Centennial Exposition held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 10 to November 10, 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia.

Nearly 10 million people attended.

The bearer of this ticket was granted admission for the duration of the Fair. On the blue ticket the price of Fifty cents is printed on the face just below "Package Ticket." Fifty Cents represents the cost of the season ticket.

Signed by David G. Yates, General Manager, Department of Admissions. Printed by The Philadelphia Bank Note Company.

Ticket size: 3⅞" x 2¼"

Enclosed in a freestanding Lucite frame to protect the ticket while allowing you to display it standing or flat. The two pieces of Lucite are held together with magnets, which makes it easy to remove the ticket for a closer inspection or to frame in a different manner or to store.

Note that the manufacturer claims UV protection, but I haven't seen any technical report, so recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.

Use a microfiber cloth or similar to remove dust and fingerprints. Do not use household cleaners.

Shipping: $10. Please allow two weeks for shipping.
