From our series commemorating the 80th anniversary of WWII, our exclusive design commemorates the Ardennes Offensive, or what became known as the "Battle of the Bulge".
On the front, the helmet from Easy Company with the words, "Rendezvous with Destiny," a phrase from a speech given by Franklin D. Roosevelt and later adopted as a motto by the 101st Airborne Division.
On the back, the official name and dates of the campaign, "The Ardennes Offensive 16 December 1944 - 28 January 1945," a bold number 80 signifies the eight decades that have passed since this monumental battle, snow-covered trees to evoke the harsh, freezing conditions of the Ardennes forest, where soldiers endured brutal winter weather while fighting a relentless enemy, and featured prominently, the Sherman Cobra King that broke through to link up with the 101st Airborne Division on the outskirts of Bastogne on December 26.
