Paul Revere aboard his horse in full gallop, based on an original oil painting by Alton S. Tobey, whose art appears throughout the Golden Book series on American History.

Shows Revere as he famously rode through the night to warn colonists about the British troops marching on Lexington and on to Concord embroidered on a cap. The date, April 19, 1775, is embroidered on the back.

There is nothing embroidered on the side.

The cap: Unstructured crown with top button and six sewn eyelets. Curved bill with six rows of stitching. Self-fabric closure with D-ring slider and tuck-in strap.
