Three books and one newspaper all related to the Revolutionary War:
- Songs and Ballads of of the American Revolution by Frank Moore — 1856
Published in New York by D. Appleton & Company. 394pp. As you see, there is damage to the front cover and first few pages, but none of the damage is in to the text. It's a very interesting book, and I've had a hard time finding any others like this, though there were some much later printings.
Size: 5" x 7"
- Sources and Documents Illustrating the American Revolution 1764 - 1788 and the formation of the Federal Constitution by Samuel Eliot Morison — 1923 378pp. This book is loaded with great information. Unfortunately, it's also loaded with lots of pencil underscores. (My guess is that it was used as a textbook at one point.) We've priced at only $25.
Size: 5" x 7.25"
- Historical View of the American Revolution by George Washington Greene — 1865. Published in Boston by Ticknor and Fields. 459pp. Several photos below, including of some interesting information in the back. A copy of the book has also been scanned in to the Library of Congress, so you can browse the contents.
Size: 5" x 7.5"
- Souvenir of the Centennial Anniversary of the Inauguration of Our First President — The St. Louis Republic Newspaper — April 29, 1889. In very poor condition—so poor, in fact, that I didn't want to open it up, so we've priced it at $1.
