"The Liberty Bowl" Showing the Signing of the Declaration of Independence and Historic Landmarks of Colonial Philadelphia

Wedgwood's "The Liberty Bowl" depicts the signing of The Declaration of Independence and has historical landmarks of Colonial Philadelphia around the outside. In cream/black bone china.

Made in England exclusively for J.E. Caldwell Company.

Note that this is not an antique, but I thought it was lovely and the one we have is in like-new condition.

Around the inside rim: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"

Illustrated around the outside: Congress Hall, the Betsy Ross House, the Liberty Bell, First U.S. Bank, Christ Church, Merchants Exchange, Carpenters Hall, and the University of Pennsylvania.
