John Thomas Scopes, became known as the Scopes “Monkey Trial” and remains one of the best-known American courtroom battles over education, religion, science, and freedom of thought.
Includes the speeches and arguments of the attorneys, testimony of noted experts, and William Jennings Bryan’s last speech. It opens with a photograph of the Rhea County Court House in Dayton, Tennessee.
