This is an advance order. We expect to send these out in late October.
Our original design has the chain of states design with "We are one" in the middle, which was an image developed by Benjamin Franklin that was widely used during the Revolutionary War and after, including on currency. The links are labeled with the name of each of the original 13 colonies. The photo shows currency printed with this design by Hall & Sellers, a Philadelphia printing firm originally established by Benjamin Franklin. The currency is in the collection of the Museum of the American Revolution.
The art we created is based on the image as it appeared on the Second New Hampshire Regiment Flag, which was raised under the command of Brigadier General Enoch Poor in 1775. See the photo of this and another flag, both carried by the 2nd New Hampshire Regiment, from a landmark exhibition in the summer of 2026, "Banners of Liberty," at the Museum of the American Revolution. It was the largest gathering of original flags from the Revolutionary War since it ended in 1783.
On the back, "1776" as it appears at the top of the Declaration of Independence that was then signed (by most) on August 2. See the photo of the Declaration in the National Archives.
Designed and decorated in America on imported porcelain (not from China).
We are also introducing another porcelain ornament for the 250th with Independence Hall and text from the Declaration on one side and "We hold these truths" with several passages from the Declaration on the other.
