Couldn't load pickup availability
On the back, our shirt has all of the battles in which American forces were involved, listed in order, starting with the attack on Pearl Harbor and ending with the dropping of the atomic bombs, in the shape of "V" for Victory.
On the front, over the left chest, the 48-star flag in dark grey and the years 1941 - 1945.
This design is also available on a poster - great as a learning tool.
Historical Background Behind the Design
Our WWII shirt commemorates the end of WWII, with all of the battles in which American forces were involved are listed in order, starting with the attack on Pearl Harbor and ending with the dropping of the atomic bombs.
At the the bottom, this quote, from FDR's address to Congress and the nation following the attack on Pearl Harbor:
We will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
The shirt also includes the 48-star American flag with the years of America's involvement, 1941-1945.
May 8, 1945 marks V-E Day, Victory in Europe, when the “cease fire” took effective on 11:01 pm Central European Time. The first signing of surrender occurred on May 7, 1945 in Rheims, France; a second surrender ceremony took place on May 8, 1945 in Berlin. Because of the time difference, Russia and other Eastern Countries mark V-E Day on May 9th.
September 2, 1945 marks V-J Day, Victory in Japan, when Japan signed the surrender documents aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay.

Lots of people love them, which you can see in the reviews, but if you judge t-shirt quality based on weight or thickness, do not get this one. Instead, get the 100% cotton shirt above. In light blue heather. XS - 3X. See size chart.
- Limited run. 100% cotton Made in the USA shirt in Safari green — Grown, knitted, dyed, and sewn in the USA. 5.4 oz. S - 3X. See size chart. This is printed on a thicker and heavier shirt t-shirt compared to the Grey one.
