Taken from a historic engraving of an American eagle on an American Shield carrying a white banner in the eagle's mouth.
The engraving was designed so that each printer could add the text they wished. In this case we added our rallying cry, "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of history."
Printed in New England with a distressed appearance.
