An ornate engraving by D. Kimberly after John Trumbull's Declaration of Independence painting of the first reading of the Declaration. The key to the painting, identifying the men pictured, is at the bottom.

This print is in excellent condition and mounted in an antique, solid wood frame.

Includes the full text of the Declaration of Independence and the facsimile signatures of all of the signers surrounded by the state seals and portraits of the Presidents, from George Washington through William Henry Harrison.

An American eagle, holding a banner carrying the U.S. motto, tops the border. On the bottom, Asher B. Durrand's key to the painting.

Published by Franklin Printing Co, in Boston in 1841.
