Returns and exchanges

Contact us when you receive your item if there is any problem and we'll work with you to make it right.
We accept returns and exchanges when alerted within seven days from the date you received your order.  Contact us for instructions by sending e-mail to Orders@TheHistoryList.com. Items should be in the original condition and not have been worn. If you would like to do a return or exchange outside of these seven days, please contact us.

If we sent you something other than what you ordered, contact us and we will send the right item and a label for the return.

If you received the item you ordered and wish to exchange it for whatever reason, contact us and we will send you a postage-paid return label that includes tracking. We will send the new item to you as soon as we receive the original one. If there is a difference in price, you will receive a credit or, if the new item is more expensive, we'll send you a link to pay.

There will not be any additional shipping charged unless the new item has a higher shipping charge than the original (e.g., exchanging a t-shirt for a hooded sweatshirt). 

If you received the item you ordered and need a replacement quickly, place an order for the item you want, then contact us with both order numbers.  We will send you a postage-paid return label with tracking, and we will give you a refund for the returned item as soon as we receive it. 

If you simply don't want the item, we will refund the price of the merchandise when we receive it back in its original condition. If you wish to have us send your a postage-paid return label, we will be happy to e-mail you a PDF of a postage paid label that you can print out. We will deduct the amount for the return. The amount we deduct will be identical to the original shipping charge. If you used a discount code or otherwise received free or discounted shipping, we will deduct the shipping cost before the discount was applied.
