San Miguel Chapel, Santa Fe limited edition print — Signed and numbered — Only 200 printed from The Pursuit of History

San Miguel Chapel, Santa Fe

The sixth in our series of original fine art prints of America’s great historic sites.

Known as the oldest church in the continental United States.

Santa Fe and the surrounding area provide a window into the history of the West unlike any other.

The city and surrounding area witnessed more than 500 years of complex history as indigenous, Spanish, Mexican, and US forces competed and sometimes cooperated for survival and success in a beautiful but harsh environment.

The century of preservation and redevelopment that followed honored both Native and Spanish heritages, creating a unique venue for studying and appreciating the complex history of the West.

Statue of Liberty

The fifth in our series of original fine art prints of America's great historic sites.

The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. Her official name is Liberty Enlightening the World. She stands 151 feet tall and rests upon a pedestal that is 154 feet high.

Frenchman Edouard de Laboulaye wanted to create something to celebrate America’s and France’s shared commitment to liberty and the recent abolition of slavery in America. The French sculptor, Frederick-Auguste Bartholdi, selected Bedloe’s Island (now called Liberty Island) as her home so that every ship entering the harbor would see Lady Liberty.
