1776 - 2026 Historic American Flag Pillow Sham — Made in America

Updated March 28, 2026: Our historic American flag pillows have a new size and shape. In addition, the front panel is 100% cotton twill and the pillows have hidden zippers. There is another important difference: We're offering the sham; inserts can be purchased elsewhere. This saves significant costs, including in shipping.

The pillows:

• Front: Flag image on 100% cotton twill
• Back: Dark blue 100% cotton denim (unprinted)
• With full length hidden zipper along the bottom
• Available in two sizes: 16" x 16" and 24" x 24"
• Does not include the insert — We are omitting the insert to reduce the cost of shipping. High-quality inserts can be purchased on Amazon and elsewhere. You can pick the firmness you'd like—see the tips below—and the type of material. When bought online, inserts are shipped tightly compressed. We don't have the capability to do this, so rather than having inserts shipped to us, unpacked, inserted, and then shipped to you in a much larger container, we're omitting the inserts. The reduction in shipping costs is substantial, so we're able to offer these without a shipping surcharge. 

About the design: Based on a historic flag created for the 1876 Centennial, five-pointed, rayed stars are arranged to read “1776” and “2026.” 

Includes the card shown, which has historical information about the Centennial flag and the exposition on the front and an illustration of the expo on the back.

Tips on picking an insert: If you want the pillow very full and firm, select an insert that's two inches larger, so in this case, a 20" or 26" insert. If you want it to appear a little looser and more casual, choose one the same size. In the picture below of the two pillows on the bed, the one on the right has a 26" insert and the one on the left has a 24" insert.
