Paul Revere aboard his horse in full gallop, based on an original oil painting by Alton S. Tobey, whose art appears throughout the Golden Book series on American History.
Shows Revere as he famously rode through the night to warn colonists about the British troops marching on Lexington and on to Concord embroidered on a cap.
The lantern used to signal that night from Old North Church, is embroidered on the side. Note that the embroidery on the side will be smaller than what is shown in the photo.
The cap: Has an unstructured crown with top button and six sewn eyelets. Curved bill with six rows of stitching. Self-fabric closure with D-ring slider and tuck-in strap.

And yes, that's our Revere cap and our Lexington and Concord 1775 sweatshirt (available here) photographed on a snowy day on Lexington Common.
