Five Colonial Currency Notes from 1770 to 1779, including North Carolina (1776), South Carolina, and Maryland
Updated at 9:15 pm on April 4: These have been sold.
Five colonial currency notes available individually.
Of varying size and dating from 1770 to 1779. All are signed by various treasurers. As shown in the photo, the backs are visible in three of the five.
Each note is enclosed in a 5" x 7" freestanding Lucite frame to protect the currency while allowing you to display it standing or flat. (Note that the manufacturer claims UV protection, but I haven't seen any technical report, so recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.)
The currency notes:

Six Dollar North Carolina Note — Halifax, dated April 2, 1776. No. 6340. With a floral border and illustration of a squirrel. Size: 4." x 2.25"
