Our rallying cry, "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of history," surrounds a wood carving attributed to Alexander Swasey (1820-1860), a boat builder. The carving includes an eagle, shield, the seal of the United States, Lady Liberty with pole and cap, canon and canon balls, a cornucopia with tobacco leaves, and sheaves of grain.

The carving is in the collection of the Newport Historical Society in Newport, Rhode Island, where it is on display. It is used under license.

The sticker is printed in the US on thick, durable vinyl with a UV laminate that protects it from scratching, rain, and sunlight. Die cut

Excellent sticker!

This sticker is just pure awesome. The quality is fantastic both in graphics and the sticker itself. It’s what I call “sophisticated patriotism”, and allows you to show off your pride for both country and history without it looking cheesy or overtly patriotic.

The only reason it gets four stars from me, is because I wish there was a bigger size option. They make great gifts as well as an extra add-on for someone.

Thanks, Larisa, for your review. We made this sticker the same size as our standard-sized 'History Nerd' sticker with Ben Franklin because that one is our most popular. We also thought it would be an easy way for folks who have that sticker to understand the size of this one. We offer the 'History Nerd' sticker in a larger size, but the small sticker is much more popular by a factor of probably 20:1. If this sticker is as popular as our 'History Nerd' sticker, we'll look at adding a larger size. Thanks for the suggestion.
