The historic Continental army "USA" button recreated in a medallion with a wire-wrapped bracelet, and a smaller charm at the clasp with a star from George Washington's Headquarters flag on one side and the years of the encampment, 1777 - 1778, on the reverse. Our exclusive design.  Made by hand in New England.

"Great work craftmanship!
My wife absolutely loves this bracelet. The fit is right on and the detail is perfect! This is the perfect gift for a History Loving wife but also a wonderful fashion statement!"
— Brad S.

Our bracelet has a nickel silver finish of mixed metals. It is not plated. Instead, a lacquer coating is baked on over the metal.

In one size (7.5" bracelet with 7/8" medallion) in silver.

Includes a small print with an explanation of the symbols shown on the bracelet and its historical significance. On the back, a famous painting of George Washington on Valley Forge.

This will be unique gift that will hold special meaning to anyone who loves history and the Revolutionary spirit and ideals that led to the founding of our nation.

The history behind the design

The National Park Service literature on Valley Forge includes this explanation:
Out of Many, One
(E Pluribus Unum)

The new country did not have a standing army when the revolution began, so General Washington had to organize one while fighting the war itself. Part of his challenge was to shift soldiers' allegiance from their home states to the United States. Another challenge was to train the entire army to use the same fighting tactics, which allowed the officers to organize a more unified fighting force.

The intertwined letters of the uniform button symbolize these transformations, as does the motto "Out of Many, One." In 1776, American leaders started thinking about using its Latin translation, E pluribus unum, as the new country's motto. It still appears on the Great Seal of the United States, and remains a motto worthy of soldiers' perseverance at Valley Forge.

The Valley Forge encampment

The National Park Service website gives a detailed account of the winter encampment at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777 - 1778.

Everyday History

It is perfect! Dainty enough that it doesn't get in the way. But bold enough that it does make a statement. It says USA. It was made in the USA. And it even states what could be considered the beginning of the USA. I also like the six pointed star.

Beautiful Bracelet!

I got the 1773 Tea Party Bracelet first and loved it so much that I brought the USA one too. I am a history nut and Jewelry addict too so for me it was a win, win. It is simply beautiful and the craftsmanship is first rate. Of course I love that it is made in the USA. Grab one of these while you can. Stunning to me.
