Our original design on a soft acrylic scarf with George Washington's signature and the words, "Victory or Death" on one end and December 25 - 26, 1776 on the other. "Victory or Death" was the countersign used by the Continental Army the night they crossed the Delaware to attack the Hessian garrison at Trenton. Learn more about the design below. Wow, I love this beautiful GW scarf especially as it is in my favorite color. I wanted to a be history teacher when I graduated high school, but I had a guidance counselor discourage me about it saying there were already too many if you can believe that. Therefore, I just graduated with an English degree. This is a way for me to indulge my passion in history so thank you. I love the scarf has GW's autograph on it too and the "Victory or Death" quote. I am a teacher in Louisiana where it isn't very cold, but I wear my scarf to work almost daily! My students thought it was really cute until they heard it was Washington's signature. Then they laughed. They know I am a huge nerd so they rolled their eyes and said, "Of course it has Washington's name on it or you wouldn't have bought it!"
