Antique copper plaque with the Declaration of Independence issued by Samuel H. Black in 1859 using a new process called electrolytic casting. The medallion was done by Charles Cushing Wright. Links to more information about both men are below.

Features the full text and facsimile signatures of the Declaration of Independence in raised relief, surrounding a central medallion depicting the historic signing on July 4, 1776. 

At the bottom:

"Entered According to Act of Congress in the year 1859 by S.H. Black in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York."

In an antique solid wood frame with non-glare, UV-protecting museum-grade acrylic.
