U.S. Navy Appointment Signed by President Theodore Roosevelt — 1906

U.S. Navy Appointment Signed by President Theodore Roosevelt — 1906

$2,100.00

An original U.S. Navy commission dated March 2, 1906, signed by President Theodore Roosevelt and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Charles J. Bonaparte.

The document appoints John E. Otterson an ensign in the Navy. He was appointed by the Senate on February 2, 1906, and the presidential appointment is dated March 2, 1906.

In a solid wood frame.

The close up photos show the condition. However there is one condition issue that may not be noticeable: To the right and slightly above the eagle, there is a small round hole. It is far away from the engraving and the handwriting.

A note regarding the photos: There are 21 photos that do not include the frame. I took those photographs before I finished framing it so you can clearly see the quality (without any reflection from the glass).

Frame size: 28" × 25"

Shipping: $50. Please allow two weeks for shipping.
