Young adult historical novel set during the Revolution.

The story follows three young boys from New York City who are swept up in the conflict between the Patriots and the Loyalists. The boys join the Continental Army and serve under General George Washington and participate in the Battle of Saratoga and the Battle of Monmouth, among others. Along the way, they encounter spies, traitors, and dangerous wilderness.

The boys also face personal challenges, such as homesickness and fear. The novel provides a vivid portrayal of life during the Revolutionary War, including the struggles and sacrifices made by both sides. The story highlights the importance of friendship, loyalty, and bravery.
