Earlier this year we offered a cased model of USS Constitution that was a display that included a beautifully detailed model of the ship as well as a cross-section that showed how it was constructed. (It’s unusual to have the cross section included.) That cased model was acquired and is now in New York.

The one offered here is more of a traditional model and it’s from the very well-respected Lannan Ship Model Gallery in Boston. It includes the model, table with marquetry inlay, and glass case.

Previously in a corporate boardroom, it would be a striking addition to an office, at work or home, or in a living room or den. And because it's finished on all sides, it can be placed in the middle of a room.

Size of case:
63" high from the floor to the top of the glass case. The case is 32" high from the table and is x 45" wide and 19" deep.

Price: $5,995.00. See below for information on initial payment and a later wire.

Delivery: Free delivery and set up within a 4-hour radius from Boston. Outside of that radius, we will supply information on the companies that are used by our major auction houses for shipping large antiques, or we might even make the drive. Please inquire.

All sales are final.

Payment: $500 paid now and the rest wired within three business days.

We will supply the buyer with wire instructions.

We're using this process in order to reduce unnecessary platform fees and to give the buyer the ability to wire payment instead of having to charge their credit card.

Touring USS Constitution, including areas not open to the public

As some of you may know, I founded a non-profit organization called The Pursuit of History in 2019, and one of our major events is History Camp, which I started in 2014.

In 2022 we held an all online version of History Camp, and thanks to Elliott Fabrizio and the rest of the folks at USS Constitution, we were able to provide an in-depth tour via video of USS Constitution, including going into areas not open to the public.
