This World War I poster entitled, "Books wanted for our men in camp and 'over there.' Take your gifts to the public library." Created by Charles Buckles (C.B.) Falls in 1918.
In the lower left-hand corner you'll see what I assume was pasted into the inside of every donated book.
Of the many WWI posters I’ve seen, I especially like the composition and message, bringing forward another aspect of life in the trenches “over there.” In a brushed aluminum frame with a museum-grade, non-glare, UV-protecting acrylic for glazing.

Charles Buckles Falls, also known as C. B. Falls (December 10, 1874 – April 15, 1960), was an American artist and member of the Decorative Designers, most known for his illustrations and writings. He is the author and illustrator of several books, including The ABC Book. He is also known for his World War I poster advertisements, such as "Books Wanted."

Love this poster!
This is an excellent addition to the decor of my home office. It's a reproduction of the "business end" of the Irish Brigade's battle flag - the harp, shamrocks, sun spray from the clouds, listing of battles, ribbon with regiments and Irish Garlic motto - just beautiful! All of this done with immaculate printing and color rendition on heavy poster stock paper. I was able to to find a perfect frame on Amazon with compatible green and gold coloring. I wish I could append a photo to this review. Delivered in a secure, thick cardboard mailing tube. Highly recommend!

This print is gorgeous. I admired a reproduction of Christian Remic’s depiction of the British Troops’ landing when I worked at the Paul Revere House, where the work is still displayed. I’m thrilled to have this scene to admire in my own home. It is a rare find. Thanks History List!

Ordered this shirt for my husband. His dad was a Marine and was in the first landing on Iwo Jima. He is a Marine veteran from the Vietnam War. We were able to visit Iwo Jima for the 75th Anniversary which was actually held two years later because of Covid. My husband loves the shirt! I was happy it’s made in the USA!
