World's Columbian Exposition Chicago Day Admission Ticket — October 9, 1893
Updated May 30: This has been sold.
One admission ticket to the Chicago Day of the World Columbian Exposition, dated October 9, 1893.
The back shows a picture of Fort Dearborn Chicago 1833.
Size: 2" x 4"
Enclosed in a 4" x 6" freestanding Lucite frame to protect the ticket while allowing you to display it standing or flat. The two pieces of Lucite are held together with magnets, which makes it easy to remove the ticket for a closer inspection or to frame in a different manner or to store.
Note that the manufacturer claims UV protection, but I haven't seen any technical report, so recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.
Use a microfiber cloth or similar to remove dust and fingerprints. Do not use household cleaners.
Shipping: $10. Please allow two weeks for shipping.
Also available, World’s Columbian Exposition Dedication Ceremonies Ticket — October 21, 1892

This ticket hit the spot. Date is my birthday and the day I attended the Exposition.
In excellent shape and perfect in the lucite frame. In great condition.
The History List is “The Top,” to quote Cole Porter.
