Updated at 9:30 pm: This has been sold.

A large color print of an illustration by aviation artist Harley Copic depicting the B-29 Superfortress the "Enola Gay" in flight during the Hiroshima mission signed by pilot Col. Paul W. Tibbets (February 23, 1915 – November 1, 2007),  navigator Capt. Theodore J. "Dutch" Van Kirk  (February 27, 1921 – July 28, 2014), and bombardier Maj. Thomas Ferebee (November 9, 1918 – March 16, 2000).

Above, left to right: Van Kirk, Tibbets, and Ferebee

Captioned below the illustration, in part: "Precisely at 17 seconds past 8:15 a.m. on 6 August, 1945, Colonel Paul W. Tibbets and the crew of the ENOLA GAY... released the first atomic weapon, nicknamed 'Little Boy'."

Comes with a certificate of authentication.

The Los Alamos National Laboratory has an excellent article on the mission entitled, The Mission That Changed the World.

I've also included below photos I took of the plane, which you can see at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, The National Air & Space Museum annex near Dulles.

It's framed in a lightweight composite frame with a finish that is designed to complement the exterior of the plane. For glazing, we've used a same museum-grade non-glare acrylic that protects the print from UV.
