The engraving, entitled "The Washington National Monument," features an early design of the monument by architect Robert Mills.
Engraved by James Charles Armytage based on the drawing of Henry Warren.
Construction began in 1848 and was completed in 1888, with construction stopping in 1854 due to lack of funds and resuming in 1877.
Framed and matted in an antique gold solid wood frame under glass.
Frame size: 11.5" x 14.75"
