Each volume ~ 200 pages. 

Illustrated with 64 steel engravings of scenes, portraits, 2 title vignettes, one folding plate showing portion facsimile of all the signatures on US document, and the Declaration of Independence

Also includes 7 colored maps showing various portions and scenes of the Americas, Colonies, British Colombia, the West Indies, etc. 

The interior photos below show the first two volumes. The books, inside and out, are in good condition, and it's certainly a fine looking set, with red covers and gold lettering and adornment.
