Featuring detailed scenes from early American history, including American Indian, Pocahontas Saving the Life of John Smith, The Return of the Mayflower, and The Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor.
On the back, the Pilgrim Exiles scene and the text, "Colonial Times by Crown Ducal, England."
Crafted in England by A.G. Richardson & Co, a company founded in 1915 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England—an area famous for its pottery industry. Crown Ducal is a brand name used by A.G. Richardson & Co., Ltd. for some of their porcelain pieces. Introduced in 1916, Crown Ducal became recognized for its beautifully crafted items, including its popular Chintz pattern dishes.
