Originally crafted as part of a portfolio for the World’s Columbian Exposition, this stunning print by Charles S. Graham, derived from a watercolor, captures an aerial view of the entire fairgrounds when viewed from the north west
Spreading over 600 acres along the coast of Lake Michigan, one can pick out various highlights from the event, including the Fine Arts Building, the United States Government Building, various country and state pavilions, a lighthouse, a functioning battleship, the Casino, a dairy, the Agricultural Building, the Woman’s Building, the Transportation Building, and dozens of other structures created by the country’s best architects.
As shown in the photos, there are some tears that aren't too obvious, some discoloration on the left side (as if this had once been rolled up), and a tear in the lower right that is very obvious.
We have made a significant adjustment to the price.
Size: 37" x 48"
