Reverse-painted Federal mirror with Paul Revere
Reverse-painted Federal mirror with Paul Revere
Updated June 24: This has been sold.
. . .
This spring I found a reverse-painted mirror with an image I’d not seen before: Paul Revere on his midnight ride. Reverse painted mirrors are not that unusual, but I’ve never seen one with this image and in such excellent condition. I replaced the mirror itself and planned to keep it until I hung it up and realized that I don’t really have the right spot to show it off. I’m hoping that one of you has the perfect spot for this lovely piece and the historic event it depicts.
