15 World War II Newspapers from the US and UK in an archival box — 1939 - 1945

Updated September 5 at 9:35am: This item has been sold.

Read history as it happened in these US and UK newspapers and you will begin to feel what people were experiencing during WWII.

Beginning in 1939 and continuing through to 1945, the issues cover a wide range of events. I've included below a list of the issues along with the major story or stories in each.

When I was going through these I was surprised by some of the things I read, and I thought I was fairly familiar with the events of WWII. I expect you'll be surprised, too, and you'll come away with a better sense of what it must of been like on the home front, not knowing how long the war was going to last or how many people would die and how many cities destroyed before it was all over.

In an archival blue/grey archival metal edge preservation box that is 20.5"W x 16"D x 3"H, which means you have room items you wish to preserve. Each is in a protective polypropylene sleeve.
